I'm a professional IT specialist.
I work in IT since 1996. For five years I worked most as a Java and Web developer. But my professional skills are much deeper.
Since 2005 I lead a team. I think it's the best that I ever did.
Since 2000 I developed about seven big projects and a lot of small applications on Java in team or alone.
Also I worked a lot as a Web developer. Some of my Java projects are related to Web development too.
I'm responsible for leading a team on Java project.
I've started working in JetBrains as a Customer Support Engineer.
Based on technical support process, I wrote the proposal of automation system of customer support. With several restrictions that system was approved by the company, and I started developing the Cenralized Support Tool.
My next project was a CRM system for IntelliJ IDEA evaluation program. Next, I've been moved to the IntelliJ IDEA team. My responsibilities were to support building of IntelliJ IDEA product distributions.
Also I created some subsystems for IntelliJ IDEA: the Plugin Repository and Automation Error Reporting tool. Also I developed some functionalities for the IntelliJ IDEA, and JSP/Servlet engine for JetBrains corporate web-site.
Lately my responsibilities in JetBrains were to support product building and testing environment.
I've worked for the OpenWayGroup fo so short because I've been headhuntered by JetBrains, s.r.o. It took me a month to develop the SQL Manager tool for the company's database structure that should have become a part of another environment.
It is a part-time work to answer customers' questions.
I participated in over than 150 problems' solving.
My OfficeFront at the HotDispatch.
Working as a Java project team leader. I developed distributed web-sites management system W3Publisher
It was my first full-time job.
I worked as a software developer on C, Java
Worked as a system programmer (MS Visual C++ 6 and Windows NT 4.0), took part in the "LinX Fax Server" project: fax server kernel (Windows NT service) which interacted with distributed clients (RPC over TCP/IP), spooler (middle process, MS Access) and fax hardware driver.
Webmaster (FreeBSD and Apache) for some projects of the Main web studio and also for my own projects which I developed on the corporate server.
DP Group was my first big achievement in management and software development.
DP group was a small software company consisted of eight employees (plus me).
The main marketing position of the company was software development for private customers and small firms.
Developed security system for local bookkeeping database. The project was developed on assembler (x86). Purpose: protecting database files from unauthorized deleting. Database system: dBase IV.
Since I knew information technologies, I started developing my own projects. The main intention of my projects is to increase my personal skills in various IT spheres. It's a good creativity practice, too.
In June 2002 I started studing management in the Institute of Economics and Finance, but at the end of 2002 I usderstood that the classic high degree is not the thing I want to have.
Maybe I have chosen a wrong institute but everything they taught I later found in some good books about management and related areas.
I made a simple calculations: the value of my studing was about $400 per year. For that sum I can buy 10-40 books about management, information technologies or any other specific themes I'm interested in.
So, I came to the conclusion to stop getting a degree and started reading a lot.
